sad I’m frustrated

Prices don't match

Looking to go to La Tania, France to the Grand Bois Apartments with ski+.
Originally looking at going with 5 people which was £621 per person, but now another friend wants to go and website states that it costs £635 per person with 6 people. But the total is £3940.60 which is £657 per person? Why is that?
Last year I went on a trip with ski+ which included skis, boots and poles. Is that the same for this season?

    -How many adults, children, infants?
    -Date of Departure?

    Several times I tried to book to la thuile from Glasgow on 26 th dec at la planibel apartments for 3 people
    Website kept claiming error your side and call which I did but closed so I tried a few more times through both Thomson and crystal

    • Thank you for your reply. This was one of the few holiday offers that I DID'NT check out and not one of the ones I wanted, I am also looking for a holiday for only 2 people. So many thanks but it did not really address my problem.

    I've tried to book four different holidays all advertised through the ski deals, only one of which actually exists at the price quoted. The price hike when I tried to book over the phone was 4 times the price quoted, so I know that everything actually exists, just not the price advertised. I got no help from the reservations line and have had no response to my request for more information.

    I spoke with Natalie last night and we both agreed that at present there is very little Crystal can do to restore what was a very strong faith in them as ski holiday providers. The time wasted searching, filling in booking details and further frustrating phone calls have not helped, my trust in Crystal has been seriously dented and I'm currently looking elsewhere for my ski holiday.

    Too bad we didn't see your post before about Crystal's false advertising, it would have saved us the frustration of booking trips at prices that didn't exist.

    We decided its about time they get reported to the Advertising Standards Authority, so we've submitted a formal complaint, which includes the video of our experience.

    I have just watched your video on YouTube, and subsequently performed the same search myself on the website. Unfortunately I don't have access to our reservation system from home, so I'm unable to double check things. However, I did not get the price difference you appear to get in the video.

    Having said that, we treat all issues around online pricing very seriously at Crystal, and as an Online team we have been very proud to say that we're (as far as we know) the ONLY ski operator in the UK that provides up front and accurate pricing. Other operators tend to give a "from" price usually based on maximum occupancy of a room, rather than the specific party details that people enter.

    Nevertheless, regrettably we have had some technical issues over the past few weeks which have interfered with the efficiency of the data coming into the website, which has been at the root of a number of pricing issues. As far as I was aware these were all resolved, so I'm surprised and disappointed to see your video.

    I would therefore appreciate it if you could email your contact details and the details of the holiday you were looking for to contact@crystalski.co.uk we will get onto this as soon as the relevant people are back in the office tomorrow.

    In the meantime please accept my apologies for any frustration caused, and be reassured that I will ensure that the issue is resolved efficiently to your satisfaction.

    I have tried to book several holidays online, only to find the price changes; invariably it goes up! I have tried to book at days, different times of the day and night, but the prices advertised changes by the time I'm ready to confirm. Its like trying to deal with a pick pocket! I will be reporting the site to Trading Standards, Rip Off Britain and Dom Littlewood.

    Hi Stephen and others. Really surprised to hear this. I have gone with Crystal both skiing and in the summer and had no problems whatsoever. In fact last year it was £20 cheaper than advertised! I have noticed if 2 for 1lift pass deal added and price is a special offer, then it goes back to the original price. Wasn't that maybe? Or Carbon neutral being added? Hope you have better luck next time
